Adrian Pracon played dead to stay alive


The 21-year-old Norwegian, Adrian Pracon, played dead to stay alive. He is one of the survivors of the shooting on the Utoya island testifing about what happened. He tried to escape into the water but soon enough realised he wasn't going to make it to the other end of the shore.  So he had no choice but to return to the island. He pretended to be lying dead in between corpses to avoid the gunman. That's how he saved his own life.

Adrian is now in hospital recovering from a shot wound in the back. He explains how it's not the physical pain that's the worst, it's thinking of how many of his friends that have died.

I strongly sympathize with the families and friends of the victimes. May they find the strength and courage to overcome this loss.
